Professional, evidence-informed support — in Exmoor and online.
For over 20 years, I worked as a primary school teacher in different corners of the world. Teaching was a joy, but it also opened my eyes to something much deeper: how profoundly our mental health shapes all parts of our lives. I saw children struggling, colleagues under pressure, and parents trying to hold everything together – and I often felt helpless.
Alongside my own life challenges, this inspired me to retrain at the prestigious Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) in Bristol, where I gained my Diploma in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH). Since then, I’ve never looked back.
Today, I’m a qualified and accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist, working with people of all ages and backgrounds, both here in beautiful Exmoor and online. Many of my clients are looking for support with anxiety, stress, low confidence, depression, unwanted habits, weight management, and more. I also have a wealth of experience working with neurodiversity and Special Educational Needs (SEN), which is an area close to my heart.
I am a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH). I follow a professional code of conduct, hold full insurance, and have an enhanced DBS check, allowing me to work safely with children as well as adults.
At the heart of my work is empathy, kindness, and understanding. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable and at ease, giving you the best possible environment to move forward in a positive way. As a woman, I’m also especially passionate about supporting women through life’s different stages – from the pressures of young adulthood, to the juggle of family and work, to navigating midlife and beyond.

I offer face-to-face solution focused hypnotherapy in my studio in Minehead, but also online to anywhere in the world. I also offer a form of ‘walking therapy’ in person.
Outside of my practice, I’m a Mum to two teenagers. I feel lucky to live on the edge of Exmoor National Park. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me hiking the moors or South West Coast Path with my dog Buddy, running with my local club, catching up with friends, or enjoying cosy evenings at home with my family.
